Hypnotherapy

A solution-oriented clinical practice that bridges the language of the conscious mind (words, ideas) with the language of the unconscious (images, feelings).

What is Hypnotherapy?

Hypnotherapy is the clinical integration of therapeutic principles and hypnotic trance. It aims to resolve deeply rooted emotional causes, anxieties, traumas, and unwanted behavioral patterns directly at their source within the unconscious mind.

Contrast with Traditional Talk Therapy

Traditional talk therapy primarily targets conscious understanding—making unconscious dynamics conscious through discussion. Hypnotherapy works directly with the felt emotional responses of the nervous system.

Personal Perspective by Jan Mion (Hypnotherapist): "Talk therapy targets the conscious mind for cognitive understanding. Hypnotherapy, however, operates as a two-way street: it brings unconscious root causes into awareness, but also carries conscious goals directly back into the unconscious.

*Hypnotherapy operates on feeling and belief. I often explain that a large part of hypnotherapy is translating the language of the conscious mind (words, sentences, ideas) into the language of the unconscious mind (images, feelings)."*

Sustainable Transformation

Through this translation process, personal change ceases to feel like an exhausting battle against yourself and becomes an organic inner alignment.
