Self-Hypnosis

The independent practice of guiding yourself into a light trance state to give space, attention, and positive focus to your unconscious mind.

What is Self-Hypnosis?

Self-hypnosis is the ability to guide yourself into a light trance state without a therapist present. It utilizes the mind's innate capacity for focused attention to cultivate inner calm, relieve stress, and align your unconscious mind with your conscious goals.

Principles of Self-Guidance

In self-hypnosis, your own mind provides the guiding prompts. Through steady breathing, mental imagery, and positive focus, your nervous system enters a restorative state.

Personal Perspective by Jan Mion (Hypnotherapist): "Five minutes a day keeps the mind okay. I recommend five minutes every morning sitting up: close your eyes, breathe calmly, and give dedicated space and attention to your unconscious mind.

If you focus on your goal and random daily chatter ('unrelated bla bla') floats into your mind: don't get frustrated. Simply observe the thought without judgment and gently return your focus back to what you want to focus on."

Everyday Impact

Practicing five minutes of self-hypnosis each morning ensures you begin your day grounded from an inner foundation rather than reacting in stress mode.
