In the treatment of drug addiction, hypnosis has several advantages over other approaches. By treating in the unconscious, we can address the root causes of medication abuse directly and positively influence the feelings and experiences associated with it. In addition, it can also help relieve stress and reduce negative emotions - all factors that can be associated with medication addiction.
When we lack something to achieve balance within, the unconscious seeks outward. That is, the addictive substance gives what should actually come from within. Most of the time it is a feeling or a state that has been achieved with the medication and that has given you something that is otherwise difficult or impossible to get. For this reason, the unconscious attaches this to the particular substances. As the outside chemistry helps with the inner balance, a physical dependency develops as the inner chemistry adapts.
Thus, when treating drug addiction, it is important to overwrite the addictive memory with positives and developing one's own ways of dealing with the world or drug help.
Although hypnosis offers many benefits, one must always be aware that there is no magic solution - in the end, it is up to the person themselves whether or not they ultimately succeed.
Hypnosis is a proven method for treating drug addiction. It can help overcome psychological dependence by enabling sufferers to learn new attitudes and behaviors. Hypnosis works based on the ability to enter a deep trance state and directly address the unconscious mind. In drug addiction therapy, hypnotic techniques are used to help the sufferer build what can keep the addiction symptoms away.
The goal of hypnotic therapy is to help you adopt new thought processes and action strategies that can assist in managing your drug addiction more consciously and effectively.
Here we proceed as in other addiction therapies with hypnosis: we find the missing part and thus replace the effect of pharmacology reduce. Most often we can also reduce the withdrawal symptoms.
Hypnosis can be an effective tool in treating medication addiction, helping to uncover and heal the unconscious reasons for the addiction. Many people who suffer from substance abuse find hypnosis helpful as a form of therapy, as they can learn more about their addiction and make changes.
The biggest advantage of hypnotherapy is that it allows the patient to uncover deeper causes of substance abuse than other approaches. With the help of this technique, one can identify and work through psychological factors to deal with the triggers of abuse.
In addition, hypnosis for drug addiction can help reduce symptoms such as anxiety or withdrawal symptoms to make withdrawal easier. Shame and guilt can also be relieved to reduce social isolation.
Addressing the root causes thoroughly is especially useful for people at high risk for addiction relapse. Addressing the whole thing from the ground up, rather than superficially treating symptoms, can be conducive to sustainable abstinence.
Very often hypnotherapy has helped to achieve promising results in the treatment of drug addiction disease.
It's a difficult task to fight addiction. But it is possible if you stick to the right strategies. Hypnosis can be a helpful tool to overcome and successfully beat addiction. If you have drug addiction, hypnotherapy can help you get rid of your addictive patterns and deal with your dependency problems.
Hypnosis also provides a space of relaxation and inner peace. It can also reduce stress and help restore positive attitude patterns. All of these factors contribute to overcoming addictive patterns and regaining a life free of substance dependence. With hypnotherapy, people can learn to address the underlying causes of drug cravings in order to positively affect themselves. With the mastery of self-hypnosis, it also becomes easy to influence yourself during bouts of cravings or urges.
Hypnotherapy is a successful method to deal with all types of substance addictions. With the help of professional support, those affected have a good chance of successfully dealing with their addiction symptoms and ultimately finally being free of substance dependence.
Hypnosis can also help reduce the physical symptoms of drug detox and make withdrawal more bearable.
The approach of hypnosis from the ground up also helps in relapse prevention through targeted building of inner resources.
A holistic treatment that addresses not only the physical symptoms, but also the emotional and psychological causes of addiction. This is where hypnosis can be a valuable supplement or alternative to traditional addiction therapy. In the hypnotic trance, deep-seated blockages and causes for the addiction can be uncovered and worked on to permanently get rid of the addiction.
Yes, hypnosis can be an effective method in the treatment of addiction. Hypnotherapy can help uncover and work on the root causes of addiction, reduce withdrawal symptoms, lower relapse rates, and strengthen motivation for abstinence. Hypnotherapy can also help reduce the psychological and emotional effects of addiction, such as feelings of shame or anxiety.
The hypnotherapy approach to withdrawal has many advantages. Among them are the following:
Identifying and working through the emotional and psychological causes of addiction.
Strengthening the motivation for abstinence
Reduction of withdrawal symptoms
Reduction of relapse rate
Improving mental health
The duration of a drug detox depends on various factors, such as the degree of physical dependence and the type of medication. As a rule, detoxification lasts from a few days to several weeks. Hypnotherapy can be used as a supportive tool in this process to reduce withdrawal symptoms and facilitate the process of detoxification. However, it is important to note that detoxification is only the first step on the road to permanent recovery and long-term therapy and support is necessary to maintain abstinence.
Yes, hypnosis can help reduce withdrawal symptoms by, for example, improving how you deal with stress, anxiety or pain, making withdrawal easier. Hypnosis can also help reduce physical and emotional stress during detox.
There are people who think more than others. However, if the thoughts become a constant brooding, then this can limit the quality of life. Those who brood a lot often have trouble being spontaneous and living in the moment. Often thoughts revolve around the same or similar things, without significant success.
Especially in the evening, when nothing else is going on, the carousel of thoughts can spin freely. This often leads to little or poor sleep.
Negative thinking also takes the form of self-criticism in many sufferers. Mental self-mortification often also has a negative impact on self-confidence.
Sometimes the constant headaches can also lead to depressive moods or depression.
As a remedy there are many great advices like "just be in the moment" or "just think positive" which in most cases are hardly realizable and not very helpful. Often the greatest stress also results from the fact that one does not want to brood around and does it anyway. Here there are also overlaps with procrastination.
Breaking out of brooding often requires a basic reset of thinking, and hypnosis can create that.
Thought spiral topics are often in the following areas:
All of them usually have the common characteristic that overthinking cannot change anything. So thoughts are wasted energy in almost all cases.
Often they are also "what ifs" or other fantasies that could hardly have been different in reality or that are very unlikely.
Basically, problems can be solved by two systems within us. These two have many names: Heart and Head, Mind and Instinct, or Conscious and Unconscious. When one of these systems cannot solve something, the other usually takes over. If this switch or transition is blocked, then thoughts may be stuck. This often involves cases where the head cannot find a suitable solution, but the gut feeling or instinct is not trusted. The brooding thus often arises when one bites down on a problem or topic in this way. If something keeps coming up inside, it is often because this topic has not yet been emotionally closed or because it supports self-held judgments about oneself. Often there is also a kind of inner conflict, where inner parts stand in each other's way.
Thus, overthinking is not exactly the same as "being in thought". Being in thought is less stressful and it is often a kind of escape. Hypnosis can help with both, so you're in the right place anyway.
If the head claims all resources for itself and allows nothing else, then there is no more room for change. Often brooding is also accompanied by negative feelings, such as fear, shame, anger and thus stress. Physical tension can also be a symptom. Less or poorer sleep is also associated with it when thoughts are stuck.
Those who put a lot of pressure on themselves with brooding thinking often also hinder themselves. The conscious mind blocks the natural problem solving of the unconscious mind.
If the natural flow of thoughts and emotions is blocked and a negative form of thinking results from it, then the goal should be to get back into the natural flow of thoughts. For this, it is important to interrupt the thought vortex. For this purpose, hypnosis is very suitable as a therapy. In hypnotic trance most people experience a kind of reset and relief. That is why hypnosis is also used, for example, as a relaxation method in case of overstrain. In the hypnotic state it is also possible to take a step back and remove oneself from the vortex. This can often help. The same applies to hypnotherapy against stress.
A certain self-acceptance is also necessary to escape the circling thoughts. If we want to stop brooding, then we often have to reduce our self-demands or learn to take negative things less to heart. If we become self-aware with hypnosis, that is, consciously notice how we deal with ourselves, then this can often already bring about a reduction.
In order to stop the constant brooding, it is also important as a second step to direct the interpretation of the stressful emotions and thoughts in a more pleasant direction. You can't turn everyone into an optimist with hypnosis, but it is certainly possible to steer the focus in a more positive direction.
Finding the optimal balance between conscious and unconscious problem solving is often an important issue to stop studying around. For this reason, it is also important to become a good team with your own unconscious and also to notice where the head-heavy is not effective. Confidence in the future also comes from trusting one's gut and ability to be spontaneous. These are both parts of the unconscious.
Hypnotherapy is very suitable to stop brooding and to stop overthinking. With the help of hypnotic trance, the whirlpools of thoughts can be interrupted and the flow of thoughts can be directed in a positive direction.
Are you tired of suffering from cat allergies? Have you tried various treatments without success? Well, there may be a unique solution for you: Hypnotherapy.
Hypnosis for cat allergies is becoming increasingly popular as an alternative treatment that can provide relief from the symptoms of cat hair allergies in many cases. I have also had some clients who became and remained completely allergy free.
Hypnotherapy for the treatment of allergies aims to resolve the confusion of the immune system. For this purpose, a deep state of relaxation and increased concentration is induced, the so-called hypnotic trance, which makes communication with the unconscious possible.
The connection between the mind and allergic reactions has long been recognized by experts. Studies have shown that the psyche has a direct influence on the immune system. And since we can influence the psyche with hypnosis, we can also influence the allergy process.
Cats may be dangerous for sparrows, but it does not make sense for the immune system to shoot like a cannon at a sparrow with the hair of cats. So we should bring calm into the system.
Although more research is needed to fully understand its effectiveness, many people have reported significant improvements in their cat allergies after undergoing hypnotherapy. So if you're desperate for relief and ready to try something new, you should give hypnosis a chance.
For many, hypnotherapy helps provide relief from cat allergy symptoms and brings them newfound freedom from constant discomfort. Hypnotherapy techniques have been used for centuries to harness the power of the mind-body connection to promote healing.
By communicating directly with the immune system, it is possible to reduce the allergic reactions or often even eliminate them altogether. Because once the immune system understands that cat hair is not a dangerous enemy, it can also reduce the exaggerated reaction to it.
Hypnotherapy also offers an alternative approach to traditional allergy treatments. While medications can offer temporary relief, they are often accompanied by side effects. Hypnosis offers a drug-free solution that aims to address the cause of allergies, rather than just masking the symptoms.
Because the allergy often arises from unconscious connections that are emotionally appropriate. The simplest example was a client of mine whose mother treated the cat similarly to her child. The aversion to the cat then manifested itself in an allergy to get rid of the cat. But the mother said "the cat came first" and so the allergy got worse and worse.
The examples are not always so obvious in the development of allergic reactions, but we usually find an emotional component.
The great advantage of hypnotherapy in animal hair allergy treatments is the possibility of revealing and breaking such connections. While other allergy treatments remain at the level of allergens, we hypnotically go deeper.
First of all, the connections are clarified in conversation. Therefore, it is not only about the logical connection with cats or animal hair in general, but also about the emotional background. With some clients this is openly apparent, with others a conscious connection does not arise directly.
Either way, in the second part we use hypnosis to create an appropriate trance and invite the unconscious. In doing so, we use trance phenomena to explore and influence. In this process, the conscious mind is usually present, but it can also happen that it is completely gone. In the treatment of allergies, childhood aspects are often an issue and therefore it is usually better if the client is consciously aware of what is going on.
At the end we test the whole thing hypnotically to recognize and consolidate the progress. Often one session brings relief but usually more than one is needed.
Hypnotherapy has proven to be an effective method of treating allergies by reducing the intensity of allergic reactions. When evaluating the effectiveness of hypnotherapy in alleviating allergies, it is important to consider its many benefits.
Hypnosis taps into the power of the mind, allowing it to guide your body's response to allergens in a more appropriate direction. By retraining the subconscious mind, hypnosis can help alleviate symptoms associated with cat allergies.
In addition, hypnotherapy can address not only physical symptoms, but also psychological factors that contribute to allergic reactions. Stress and anxiety are known to exacerbate allergy symptoms, and by reducing these emotional triggers through hypnosis, a great improvement in overall well-being can be obtained.
Hypnotherapy for cat allergy treats all aspects both physical and psychological. For example, it is sometimes necessary to reduce a certain fear or disgust towards cats, if they have regularly caused discomfort before. These reactions are normal and it is said that cats always choose the allergic ones to stroke their legs.
Overall, hypnotherapy may be a suitable option for treating cat allergies. By using the power of the mind, hypnosis can alleviate allergic reactions and bring relief.
Science is only making small steps in proving its effectiveness, but I have been able to help some clients get rid of their cat hair allergy. So why not consider trying hypnotherapy? It could be the solution you have been looking for to finally enjoy the company of cats without annoying allergies.
Fear of driving can get in the way quite a bit. The freedom that a car gives you can be very clouded by your fear of driving. Sometimes you even lose it altogether, namely when you have to stop driving because of the fear. Often those affected are ashamed or afraid of being ridiculed. For example, according to the motto "What the 16-year-old American can do, I should have been able to do for a long time.
But driving anxiety can affect anyone, even those who were previously the most casual drivers. Also, driving anxiety is not an indication of mental weakness, on the contrary, as I will show later. Unfortunately, even driving schools use the official expression "scaredy-cat", which does not help self-confidence either. Despite this, or because of this, hypnosis is very often successful.
If you are interested in how hypnotherapy can help with your anxiety, then you should read on.
I can say in advance: Hypnosis is a very good way to treat driving anxiety.
Fear of driving is a specific fear, but it can have many manifestations. The so-called amaxophobia ranges from a queasy feeling to total panic when you are behind the wheel yourself. Somewhat less frequently, the fear applies to the car in general, i.e. even if one is a passenger.
In addition, the fear of driving can also only manifest itself in certain situations, such as for city dwellers from Zurich only on the highway or, conversely, only in places with many pedestrians. Construction sites, highway entrances, tailgaters or observers can also be triggers for the fear.
Fear of driving can also be related to other fears, such as claustrophobia or fear of tunnels. Especially in Switzerland, there is also fear of driving in combination with fear of heights, for example on narrow mountain roads.
All in all, driving anxiety is a very multifaceted fear in which many things can come together. That is why it makes sense to include all aspects involved in the treatment.
There are many theories and experiences about how driving anxiety arises. Sometimes it can be due to a bad experience, sometimes you do not know why it arose.
What is clear from the hypnotic point of view is that for some reason the unconscious has declared this situation to be a danger.
The most different expressions probably conclude from the fact that man has not been driving a car for a long time. That a bear is dangerous when we meet it in the forest and therefore we should rather be afraid is crystal clear for our inner being. How we should handle an iron carriage weighing tons, which we can accelerate to 200 km/h and we steer with arm and foot movements, there is no unconscious patent remedy for that. So this fear can take so many forms.
Certain character traits can naturally favor the development.
In my experience, many people with driving anxiety have a good imagination. Even if they sometimes don't consciously realize it. Because to be able to imagine what could happen, you need a good imagination.
Also, people with driving anxiety often have a tendency to control things. As I said at the beginning, people with driving anxiety often have a strong head. However, this can lead to anxiety in an instinct-driven activity like driving.
It can become even worse if one wants to control the processes of the conscious mind with the conscious mind and then becomes completely blocked. For example, if one feels the glances of other road users, so to speak, then this can quickly trigger sweaty hands or the like.
The unconscious then wants to protect from the danger from now on. Whether this is the danger of a misfortune or of being overwhelmed or of being stared at does not play such a big role.
As with other dangers, the unconscious does this with feelings. It can be anything from great respect to panic fear. And the more often this is repeated, the worse the fear can become.
The panic attacks while driving don't feel like that, but paradoxically they are actually an attempt of the unconscious to protect against danger. So if we want to get rid of the fear of driving, we have to create a feeling of safety in the unconscious again. Hypnosis is very suitable for this purpose.
Whatever has triggered the danger recognition in the car, with hypnosis we can overwrite it again. Depending on the composition and manifestation of the driving fear, the treatment is composed by the hypnotherapist. The individual aspects of driving anxiety should be taken into account. Someone who has heart palpitations before construction sites should be treated differently in certain areas than someone who has panic attacks on the highway.
At the same time, there are also certain aspects that are similar in many sufferers of driving anxiety.
Fears can arise not only from what has happened, but also from what might happen. Many people with driving anxiety often have internal images or imaginings of possible accidents or mishaps. This often switches the unconscious mind into danger recognition mode before anything has even happened.
When this is the case we use hypnosis to make the inner images positive, to use one's imagination for something positive.
Time is relative. We have known that for a long time. However, when you sit in the car and let yourself get stressed, everything seems much faster, which can lead to even more stress and blockages. That is why we often change the sense of time in hypnotherapy. So that you feel you have all the time in the world to do the right thing behind the wheel.
In order to stay cool in all situations on the road, we sometimes need a thick skin. To let this grow is possible with hypnotherapy against fear while driving. So that we can maintain our own pace even in the most honking tailgater.
Especially if you are afraid of accidents or distrust your own driving ability, there is often a certain insecurity towards your own unconscious parts at play. It is clear that many aspects of driving are based on a certain inner autopilot. This also does many things unconsciously.
Building trust in our own autopilot can be very helpful. Hypnosis allows us to make contact and negotiate who is in the driver's seat.
If you trust the unconscious habits and processes, the negative feelings while driving usually disappear as if by themselves.
In orthodox driving anxiety management, confrontation training is often recommended. This means that one should confront the situation that triggers the fear. The problem with this is that many people are so blocked by their fears that it is not even possible to overcome the fear in a safe setting.
Here, too, hypnosis provides a remedy. Because with hypnosis we can create inner images that are very realistic for the unconscious. Thus, sitting in the hypnosis chair, we can confront ourselves with all that scares us.
For those who have already tried many other things, or who want to tackle the problem directly at the root, hypnotherapy is highly recommended. With the unique possibilities of hypnosis it is possible to drive again without fear. When the unconscious is on board you can sit behind the wheel again in peace.
Hypnosis helps get over a broken heart when you are heartbroken.
It is well known how difficult it can be to deal with heartbreak. The pain and sadness that comes with a breakup, toxic relationship, or unrequited love can be very stressful and difficult to deal with on your own. If you are currently in this difficult situation, hypnosis can be a professional help for heartbreak to help you overcome your heartache and heal your broken heart.

Together, we will work on the core issues and create positive changes in your thinking and behavior to help you on the path to a happier and more fulfilling life.
So if you want to get rid of your heartbreak and start new ways of self-confidence and independence, hypnotherapy for heartbreak is a good idea. Contact me to make an appointment and let's work together to help you feel better and find love and joy in your life again, even if you are single.
Heartache and grief can also trigger physical symptoms. Here, too, hypnosis is a suitable therapy method.
No matter in which phase: whether the first shock is over, you are still in the middle of it or if the heartbreak has been going on for a very long time: if you want to overcome your heartbreak, hypnosis is a good choice.
We can use the power of hypnosis to ease breakup pain, to fade the ex or exes, to deal with the end of a relationship, and to put a broken heart back together. What is not often possible is the direct forgetting or hypnotic removal of the unhappy love, it is mostly a kind of "overwriting" in the brain, replacing the painful with something more positive.
Hypnosis works in the realm of the unconscious, that is, in the realm of feelings. Where rational thinking has no influence, we can make progress with hypnosis.
In hypnosis we know that body and mind are connected. Therefore, we know that unrequited love or a breakup has not only psychological consequences such as listlessness or depression.
The best known is that heartbreak hits the stomach. Loss of appetite, weight loss and even diarrhea can be a consequence. Physical pain such as the well-known "heartache" or brook pain can also occur.
In the first time this can be part of it, but if it does not go away for a longer time, you should get professional help. Hypnotherapy is recommended for this. It is not always possible to fully let go with hypnosis love, but it can help to deal with it better.
A broken heart, at the end of a relationship or otherwise, can have a great impact on one's life.
The feeling that something is missing is often very pronounced in heartbreak. This means that one of the main goals of hypnotherapy for heartbreak is to strengthen the feeling of totality.
"What has come from the outside can also come from the inside" is one of our mottos.
Thus, perhaps in the depths of heartbreak, one may feel that one can no longer exist without the loved one, or that at least something will always be missing.
However, if we use hypnosis to reassemble the broken heart into a whole, you will realize that everything is actually there. Therapy against heartbreak includes first of all the area of self-care.
That is, we also aim to make you feel with yourself as you did before with the other person. Self-respect and the resulting self-love are important for letting go.
No matter how bad the breakup or even the pain of separation is, there is always a healing possible and also an outlook to a positive future.
Overcoming heartbreak is often divided into different phases. In all phases of heartbreak hypnotherapy can help to make optimal progress.
The first shock of a broken heart makes everything else fade away in the first moment. The shock of heartbreak makes it difficult to move on at the first moment.
In the first moment it can be that a kind of shock state arises with which the self-confidence dwindles. Furthermore, this phase is often characterized by longing, anger and loneliness. Or a kind of numbness develops, which is almost worse.
Most people withdraw more and more when heartbroken.
With clients of mine who have been in this state, it is sometimes important to find access to the feelings again, even if they may hurt at first. Because only when we are really in the feelings, we can change something about them.
The full sensing of the feelings is very important for processing and letting go. The hypnotic trance can help to make this connection but also to keep it positive. It is also important to rebuild self-confidence to be able to take further steps. In many cases, it is beneficial to develop the same love and care that was previously given to someone else, now for yourself too? This also helps to remain steadfast and to really draw a line and to stand up for one's own well-being.
They say "every goodbye hurts". That's why it's important to stick with it even if it hurts at first.
In order to create a full separation and not drag anything along, I usually set a time frame of grieving with my clients. It is really allowed to be a crying misery and to feel through everything enough.
Thus, nothing is suppressed, as well as the heartbreak is not unnecessarily protracted.
Even though we work a lot with feelings in hypnosis, in the next phase it is also important to include the rational.
When we miss someone, we tend to idealize them and block out the negative, focusing only on the love that has passed. The more you focus on the feeling, the more heartbreak hurts.
If we create an optimal balance between heart and head with hypnosis, then it is possible to see the whole thing from a different perspective. We change the focus and the inner orientation, so to speak.
The longing for the ex-partner can often be a longing for the idea of a partner and not the longing for the person himself. This has often triggered the heartbreak in the first place. Instead of mourning the ideal image, a rational view should be important.
So it is also possible to fade him or her out and not be reminded of everything anymore.
Anger, loneliness and heartbreak are important feelings to feel, but they are not the best guides for the future. That is why in hypnotherapy for heartbreak, it is also important to develop a new understanding of oneself. When one understands oneself, then we can also create a self that can do without the ex or exes.
Most of the future plans that have been made usually include the ex-partner. All these ideas are often additionally painful. When thinking about the future, feelings are often triggered by the fantasy of what could have been.
An important step in hypnotherapy is creating a new future without the other person. In this process, thoughts about the future and heartbreak should be separated.
To achieve what we want, we usually need to know what it looks like.
The positive image of the future then helps, so to speak, as a compass to find out of the temporary love low and to overcome the heartbreak.
Hypnosis can be of great help in overcoming heartbreak. With the methods of hypnotherapy, the pain in the heart can be relieved at any stage. If you want to put your heart back together again, hypnosis can help you.
There are many ways to deal with heartbreak, such as professional help, self-care, distraction, support from friends and family.
Heartbreak can be very stressful and painful, but it is usually not dangerous to your physical health.
Yes, hypnotherapy can be an effective way to help people deal with heartbreak.
Hypnosis can help let go of negative thoughts and emotions that come with heartbreak, but it's unlikely that you'll be able to completely forget about it.
Heartbreak is individual and there is no fixed window of time when it will pass. It can take weeks, months or even years for it to subside. If the heartbreak becomes too strong or affects your life too much, it is a good idea to get professional help.
If lovesickness lasts longer than expected, it makes sense to seek professional help. Hypnotherapy, for example, can help to overcome lovesickness.
There is no instant solution to heartbreak. Even with hypnosis is a process that takes time and work for healing.
When heartbreak becomes unbearable, it is important to seek support from friends, family or a professional therapist.
While heartbreak can be very painful, it is unlikely to break you. Broken heart syndrome does exist, but this is very rare. With professional help and self-care, you can get through any heartbreak.
The classical idea that in hypnosis one can use the trance phenomenon of amnesia to forget someone is not very close to reality. However, hypnotherapy for heartbreak uses the possibilities of hypnosis rather to "overwrite" or replace the feelings towards a person with more positive thoughts and feelings.
It can be difficult to get rid of bad habits that are deeply rooted in us. They are referred to as the "power of habits" because they influence many things in our lives. So there are good habits and bad habits.
However, if these routines aren't doing you any good, then it's time to break old habits
Fortunately, hypnosis is an effective way to break the cycle of unhealthy behaviors and replace them with healthier alternatives. In this article, you'll learn how hypnosis can help you break bad habits and live a healthier, more empowered life.
For some people, breaking bad habits seems like an impossible task. Our brains are wired in such a way that, with a conscious mind, it can be incredibly difficult to change a habit once it has been established. No matter how hard we try, our subconscious mind often keeps us stuck in behavior patterns that we would rather not have. We also often fail to see a logical reason behind the behavior. This is where hypnosis comes in!
Hypnosis has been used for centuries as a means of change and personal growth. In the hypnotic state, a deeper connection with the unconscious is created and so it is possible to change old behavior patterns and replace them with more appropriate ones.
Bad habits are formed through a combination of factors, including conscious choices and subconscious beliefs. Therapeutic hypnosis can help people break bad habits by uncovering the root causes of their behaviors and helping them replace those behaviors with healthier alternatives.
The subconscious mind plays an important role in the formation of bad habits. Uncovering the underlying beliefs that lead to negative behaviors is a key component in getting rid of bad habits.
The first step is to become aware of the causes of the habits. It helps to become aware of one's thoughts and feelings before engaging in a particular behavior so that one can make a more conscious decision about how he or she wants to behave.
Therapeutic hypnosis can also be used to explore memories of past experiences that may have contributed to the development of bad habits. Understanding the deeper psychological reasons why a person developed certain behaviors can help them develop new strategies to change their behavior over the long term. Understanding the role that subconscious beliefs play in breaking bad habits is essential to making lasting changes in one's life.
Bad habits and vices can be caused by a variety of factors, including the subconscious mind. Habits form because our brains are wired to associate certain activities with rewards, forming neural connections that are hardwired into our brains. These connections make it hard for us to break our tics and bad habits without outside help.
Here are 4 ways the subconscious contributes to the formation of bad habits:
Automatic behavior is a type of behavior that is subconscious; it is a deeply ingrained habit that does not require conscious thought. This can include activities such as surfing the Internet or other habitual behaviors.
Bad habits can take many forms, from seemingly harmless to life-threatening. Fingernail biting, negative self-talk, or even substance abuse are just a few examples of bad habits that people struggle with every day. But why do we have these behaviors in the first place?
The causes of bad habits such as fingernail biting, substance abuse, or negative self-talk can often be traced to underlying issues in our subconscious. For example, an increase in stress may cause someone to start nail biting as a way to cope with their nervousness. Similarly, a person struggling with low self-esteem may turn to intoxicants to relieve their emotional pain in the short term.
Understanding how unconscious processes and intentions contribute to automatic behavior and patterns can help us see the underlying intention. Even the weirdest quirk or stupidest habit has its origin and rationale somewhere.
Self-reflection is important to understand why we have certain habits that we would like to break. Hypnosis can give us access to our subconscious mind so that we can gain insight into the roots of our habits and ultimately make changes in our lives. By accessing this knowledge, we can better understand the motivations behind our behaviors and tackle the goals in a positive way.
The combination of self-reflection and hypnosis is an effective tool to break bad habits. It allows us to identify the triggers for certain behaviors and change our reactions accordingly; we also gain a deeper understanding of ourselves, which can also lead to lasting change. With these tools, we are better equipped to combat unwanted habits that keep us from living happier lives.
Excessive alcohol consumption
No matter what bad habit you're trying to break - whether it's fingernail biting, substance abuse or negative self-talk - hypnosis can be an effective way to address the subconscious mind and eliminate the deep-seated causes that are causing your behavior. By using this powerful healing method, you can gain insight into the root causes of your habits and find healthier ways to deal with everyday challenges.
It can be difficult to break bad habits, but hypnotherapy can help. Not only does it help you fix the unconscious causes, but it also helps you develop positive habits. It is also an effective method to achieve self-respect and thus self-discipline and make lasting changes in one's life.
Here are four ways to break bad habits with hypnotherapy:
With hypnotherapy, you can become more aware of your own thoughts and feelings. This helps you identify triggers that cause you to engage in harmful behaviors, so you can learn to control your behavior and replace it with healthier alternatives. Self-discipline is essential to staying on track and achieving your goals. By forming positive habits, you can ensure that your efforts pay off.
Self-respect is the respect for one's own feelings and needs. If this is missing, we do not find our own so important. This leads to a negative feedback loop, a so-called vicious circle of self-rejection and negative behavior for oneself.
Good feelings equal good behavior is an important concept when it comes to breaking bad habits. Positive reinforcement can be effective in helping us create new habits that are beneficial to our own well-being. Let's take a closer look at how these two things are related and how they can help us break our bad habits. When we use hyposis therapy to reduce the negative aspects such as stress, anxiety or self-doubt, then we can do what is really good for us out of good feelings.
First, it is important to recognize that positive emotions have a powerful influence on behavior. Through positive reinforcement, we can use our good feelings to motivate us to take action and engage in behaviors that lead to better health outcomes and well-being.
Second, positive reinforcement helps us associate new habits with positive feelings. By associating the new behaviors with pleasant experiences, we are more likely to maintain them over time. This is especially true when the reward is consistent and immediate, such as when we eat healthier or exercise more. If we adopt positive habits and implement useful rituals that are good for us, we can make life easier for ourselves and use the whole system of habits in a positive way. In this way, the change becomes permanent and sustainable.
When we regularly adopt health-promoting behaviors, we form better habits that eventually become automatic responses instead of conscious choices. This will not only help us break our bad habits, but also improve our overall mental and physical health, as well as our overall happiness.
Addiction and bad habits are two different things, but they can be closely related. It is important to understand the difference between the two when you are trying to overcome bad habits through hypnosis.
Addiction generally refers to a physical or mental dependence on a substance or activity, such as drugs or alcohol or even fast food. Bad habits, on the other hand, are typically characterized by poor time management or poor stress management. They do not require the same level of physical dependence as an addiction and can often be broken with a little effort and willpower.
Hypnotherapy can be an effective way to break bad habits. It uses the power of suggestion to help people break their unhealthy patterns and replace them with healthier behaviors. It involves addressing the unconscious causes of the habits and realigning the goals of the unconscious mind. With hypnosis, people can regain control of their lives and make positive changes that last a lifetime.
The benefits of hypnotherapy in breaking bad habits include increased motivation, higher self-esteem, better concentration, and better stress management. The hypnotic state allows individuals to become more open to positive suggestions and ideas, which can help them create new pathways in the brain that lead to long-term success. Hypnosis also helps people develop greater self-awareness, which allows them to understand why they engage in unhealthy or destructive behaviors.
Hypnotherapy is used to treat a variety of medical and psychological problems, such as overcoming bad habits like smoking, overeating, or nail biting. But is hypnotherapy also suitable for long-term habit change?
The answer, in short, is yes. Experience shows that hypnotherapy can be very effective in breaking bad habits. Studies have shown that in some cases it can even be more effective than cognitive behavioral therapy alone.
The key to successfully changing habits using hypnotherapy is to identify the causes of the unwanted behavior and eliminate them through hypnotic suggestions. This helps to break the cycle of behavior and create new positive habits and behaviors in place of the old ones. With continued practice, these new habits can become ingrained and lead to long-term success in permanently changing the behavior.
When it comes to hypnotherapy for bad habits, one of the most common questions is, "How long does it take for hypnotherapy to work?" Hypnosis has been used for centuries to change our behavior, but how long it takes before you start seeing results varies from person to person.
How long it takes depends on several factors, including the type and severity of the habit, how long you've been doing the behavior, and how quickly and easily you can make change. Generally, you can expect results within a few weeks or months. With Jan Mion, this is usually in the range of 2-5 sessions.
Hypnotherapy is usually not a magic pill that will make all bad habits disappear overnight. However, with commitment and practice, it can be an effective tool to help you rid yourself of unhealthy behaviors and develop more productive ones.
When it comes to hypnotherapy against bad habits, many people are curious about the costs involved. With Jan Mion, a session costs 150Fr. and lasts one hour and you should expect about 2-5 sessions.
In summary, hypnotherapy can be an effective way to break bad habits. It has been shown to have a positive effect on long-term behavioral changes and to have a relatively quick impact.
However, with the right guidance and support, hypnotherapy can help you kick your bad habits for good. It is not a quick fix, but an ongoing process of self-reflection and change.
Ultimately, this can lead to a healthier lifestyle that is free from the negative effects of unhealthy habits.
Emotional dependence refers to excessive emotional dependence on another person. It can be a relationship with a partner, a friend, or even a family member.
In the unconscious, emotionally significant issues are connected, which usually do not really belong together. This can lead to instability, which can make more and more insecure.
A person who is emotionally dependent may often feel insecure and anxious in their relationship and fear losing the other person. This fear may manifest itself in obsessive thoughts and behaviors, such as constantly checking in with the partner, jealousy, or a need to control.
It is also possible that the person neglects their own hobbies and friendships in order to always be available for the other person. In worse cases, emotional dependency can even lead to complete self-sacrifice, where the person builds their own life completely around the relationship. The self and the other person become mixed in an unhealthy way.
For therapy, hypnosis for emotional dependence can help release the causes of attachment and unhealthy attachment behaviors and replace them with healthy self-awareness and relationship skills.
It is important to note that there is a difference between a healthy bond in a relationship and emotional dependence. A healthy bond means that both partners are able to have a close connection with each other without giving up their own independence and autonomy. They are able to express their own needs and desires and also have time for themselves and their own interests.
In contrast, emotional dependency is often characterized by an unbalanced dynamic in the relationship in which one partner is dominant and the other is submissive. The person who is emotionally dependent often feels insecure in his or her own decisions and often acts to gain the attention, approval, and goodwill of the other. Independence and self-determination are given up to a great extent.
There are many different kinds of healthy relationships. But for me, something should be done if it is foreseeable that it will develop in an unhealthy direction or someone in the relationship gives up their own self-respect to maintain the relationship.
The unconscious mind does nothing without a reason, so it is with codependency. The principles behind it often resemble the development of an addiction. Love addiction sometimes seems almost like drug addiction.
The unconscious wants to create inner balance and discovers in the course of life through experience that partnerships can fill a hole that has usually existed for a long time.
This hole usually arises from the fact that certain natural inner processes were blocked from childhood experiences. Where naturally self-confidence, self-care or self-respect should be, something must be supplied from the outside. However, this satisfying of emotional hunger is only temporary when it comes from the outside. Thus, a dependency develops that seeks more and more. An attachment develops, because without the other person one no longer feels "complete". As if one replaces one's own leg with someone else and can no longer stand without that person.
If someone shows this kind of attachment behavior and searches for his "missing" part in this way, this can basically trigger two reactions in the other person: Either a rejection takes place, if a clinging is not desired. The more one person focuses on the other, the more they withdraw. This is often described as a kind of "driving away" and the fear of loneliness makes the clinging or control even worse.
If someone with a tendency toward emotional dependency gets involved with the wrong person, it can also lead to dysfunctional relationship patterns and even emotional abuse. People do many things out of fear, and it is exactly the same with fear of loss. And certain people take advantage of it when they realize that the other person will put up with anything.
Hypnotherapy is very suitable as a therapy for emotional addiction. Because with the possibilities of hypnosis we can directly address the problem at the root cause in the unconscious.
Whatever is missing inside and compensated by the other person can be developed with hypnotherapy. Thus, experiences from the past can be made harmless by forgetting the lesson learned about oneself from them. Many of my clients say: "I am just not a self-confident person" my answer is always: "Not yet".
Because if we hypnotically free the inner nature, every person can regain and develop a healthy emotional independence and security. The reinforcement of one's own boundaries brings many benefits. The development of the self also leads very directly to emotional independence, which makes it possible to break free from unhealthy connections and relationships and behave appropriately and with self-respect.
Treating emotional dependence with hypnosis leads to a strengthened self, bringing independence and autonomy.
Every person has within himself what it takes to live contentedly, even with himself. With my professional help I could already help many clients on this path.
Hypnotherapy is very suitable to release the emotional dependency and develop a healthy self and therefore attachment behavior. Before the healthy love relationship comes a healthy self-love and hypnosis can help to develop it. Thus, emotional neediness can also be overcome in an efficient way.
Who is this "self" and why should I be aware of it?
Those who are not self-confident often lose out. If you want to be more self-confident, hypnosis can help.
Do you find yourself too reserved? Would you like to stand up for yourself more? Are you unsure in social situations? Would you like to be more daring?
With hypnosis, you can build the healthy self-confidence that will help you in all areas of life.
Whether at work or at home, self-confidence helps us to navigate our social lives and achieve our goals. With hypnosis, we can let go of the old and build your new self-confidence.
What is possible with self-confidence?
Self-confidence.
When they read this word, most people have an image in mind. We notice when someone is self-confident. We see it, we hear it and we usually feel it too. You radiate self-confidence. There isn't really a clear checklist that we can follow, but we can feel the difference. But we can feel the difference. A lot happens unconsciously and automatically when we are self-confident. This is precisely why hypnosis can be so successful in treating a lack of self-confidence.
Very often self-esteem, self-confidence and self-assurance are used interchangeably. However, I think they describe different steps in one's own development. Hypnosis is a great help in each of these steps.
Someone who is self-aware is exactly that: self-aware. The more self-awareness you develop, the more self-aware you are. But what is the self that I can become aware of? You could also say: the more we become conscious of the unconscious mind the more we become aware of ourselves. And thus become self-aware.
This means that in order to become more self-aware through hypnosis, we have to become more aware of ourselves. If we are more on the same wavelength as the unconscious, then we automatically build up self-confidence. It is a first step that already brings a lot.
When we know what we can do and what we are not so good at, we have a plan of our own abilities. With this plan, we can then navigate the world better. We no longer have to hide, even if we are sometimes overwhelmed. Because we know what we have and what we can do.
When we interact with the world, we accumulate experiences. The more experiences we have, the more solidified our view of ourselves becomes. When our awareness of ourselves is confirmed, we can begin to trust it. We can build self-confidence.
Of course, there can always be moments that are new. However, with sufficiently strengthened self-confidence, we can assume that we can also deal with the unplanned. We can build up our self-confidence with hypnosis by strengthening our inner image of ourselves. If something doesn't work out as we expected, we can remain more relaxed.
If our confidence in our self-worth is rewarded often enough, it can become stronger. We gain self-confidence. If we are completely convinced of this, then we have the security that even negative experiences cannot overturn. We feel able to cope with situations, have a good feeling about them and are resistant to self-doubt.
If we are fully convinced of our abilities and do not adjust our self-image, we can stand still. It often happens that we lose our self-confidence and cling to our image. This then no longer corresponds to the facts and appears to be a form of infallibility. Too much self-confidence can also cause problems in social settings. It can then quickly turn into know-it-all behaviour and be seen as conceited, which is why it is important that we use hypnosis to build up more self-confidence on the inside and not just pretend on the outside.
All in all, we go through these steps in many skills and aspects of our lives. It can also be that we are confident in certain areas but not in others. However, if we build up enough self-confidence with hypnosis, we can always deal with it.
As a hypnotist, I am of course a fan of imagination, but it is also rather irritating when it comes to personality. It is the same when someone simulates self-confidence. Imaginary comes from imagining something. If you act as if you are self-confident, this appears to others as conceited. This is often met with rejection.
Many people who want to boost their self-confidence fall into the "conceited trap". "Pretending" doesn't work when it comes to self-confidence. Because you should be aware of yourself.
It is easy to see the advantages that a high level of self-confidence brings us. These are clear to see and are actually universally desirable. With self-confident people, many things look very simple. With enough self-confidence, we can also remain calm in conflicts and confrontations. We also remain spontaneous and relaxed in new situations. When we meet new people, we can make friends more quickly as a self-confident person. We can also no longer be overlooked at work. We can give presentations and stay cool. A confident appearance is also seen as competent and attractive. This also gives us better opportunities in relationships and love.
With so many advantages of self-confidence, it's easy to overlook the disadvantages. I don't just want to gloss over everything. Because to become more self-confident with hypnosis, we also have to say goodbye to things. Such profound changes in self-image can cause many feelings. Fear often arises when we step out of line, and in order to become aware of something, we have to take a close look. Even and especially where we are least comfortable.
Then we no longer have anyone else to blame. There are then no more excuses, the responsibility for our lives lies with us. Those who are self-confident can no longer put anything off. There is also no more room for self-pity. Instead, being honest with yourself brings great relief and a boost of energy. If we use hypnosis to strengthen our self-confidence and radiate self-assurance, we can defy all headwinds.
It's not just the way we deal with ourselves that changes when we become more self-confident. Those who have no opinion and only live for others will not be rejected. This is not popularity, but it is not unpopularity either. When we start to stand up for ourselves and assert ourselves, the superficiality with other people disappears. This can and will lead to rejection from certain people. So in order to properly train our self-confidence, we also have to accept not being liked. Those who say what they think cannot have an excessive need for harmony. When we are self-confident, we can often no longer avoid conflict. It is difficult to duck with a straight, self-confident back.
Of course, none of this comes out of the blue. As the effects of hypnosis build up our self-confidence, both the advantages and disadvantages become noticeable. It will also create an inner robustness and resilience that will allow us to deal with everything better. Are we increasing self-confidence with hypnosis or are we removing all the blocks that have stood in the way of self-confidence? A bit of both.
Self-confidence and self-awareness are built up bit by bit and not all at once.
Most of my clients have more self-confidence after hypnotherapy. This happens all by itself when we have a little more connection to our inner self. When we remove inner blockages and listen to our unconscious, we automatically come into harmony with ourselves. This balance is also important for a self-confident demeanour. When we are no longer afraid of the consequences, we can also let go of our inhibitions
.
With hypnosis you can build up your self-confidence and be true to yourself. With a hypnotically strengthened self-esteem, it is easy to radiate self-confidence and appear self-assured. Whether in social situations, presentations or in love.
Nowadays, burnout has been called a widespread disease. So many have already achieved good results with hypnosis therapy for burnout.
For anyone who is no longer resilient after a burnout, or would like to prevent a threatening burnout, hypnosis is warmly recommended.
Burnout is not known to be a clearly defined disease, but there are certain patterns.
These are usually unconscious in nature and often very much linked to one's own identity. The observations of orthodox psychology and the hypnotic view overlap in this respect.
Therefore, in the burnout treatment with hypnosis, we move away from pure thinking, from pure must and should, and go one level deeper. The treatment of burnout with hypnosis therapy facilitates the way back into a balanced life.
There are many factors that can promote burnout. Most of the time it is work, but it can also lead the family or certain stressful relationships to the point where the burnout stops.
Most people with burnout have something essential in common: they do not listen to themselves (well enough).
Of course, the word "burnout" in the sense of "burn out" is a good term. Especially for business people it sounds better than "exhaustion depression".
This burnout comes from going over your limit for a long time. This is only possible if you ignore all warnings.
So if you do not listen to yourself, who do you listen to?
Now, if you do not define yourself from the inside, you are defined from the outside. Those who ignore themselves rarely do so for themselves. Those who ignore themselves over a longer period of time in such a way that the body can only pull the emergency brake, have obviously put much more externally than their own needs.
Even those who have driven themselves into collapse in order to be "better than the others" or "perfect" let the inside be influenced by the outside.
Anyone who adapts to external demands without control and thus pursues unsatisfactory goals or makes seemingly unattainable demands on himself has the long and repetitive stress that is often the cause of burnout.
If you now think as a reader: "That's not true, I caused my exhaustion myself" then you do again what led you here: You won't leave yourself alone.
How to define your own identity, whether from the outside or the inside, is something you are often taught in childhood. Sometimes not even explicitly, but by looking. Children usually take over the atmosphere of their parents and when they have adopted the figurative sense of "only those who perform are worth something" or "you are what others think of you" or "only perfect is good enough", then the foundation for burnout is laid. (By the way, these were all attitudes of real clients from my practice).
In general, this puts the value of the exterior over the self value.
Then all you need to do is obey these rules and of course a lot of hard work to collapse at some point.
If one's own inner attitude of "one should" or "one should" goes beyond one's own energy limits, then it is all the more understandable that the unconscious is stepping more and more firmly on the brakes. The mental and physical exhaustion can become greater and greater.
Headaches, fatigue or even physical pain or intestinal problems can be the prompt to stop.
Also psychologically there are mostly stop signals. On the one hand, these can be dejection, depression and lack of drive. On the one hand, there is also irritability and cynicism. A wounded tiger fights the hardest as is known.
If one's own wishes or values are ignored, a feeling of worthlessness and inner emptiness is not surprising.
The sense for oneself is more and more suppressed to be efficient. Because of this the whole senselessness and humorlessness is a logical consequence.
These symptoms can be stress-inducing and stress-inducing at the same time. Because this one-sided way of life often produces even more problems.
Many people who are "suffering from burnout" feel helpless at first. Some also see themselves as victims of their circumstances. This is true in a certain way, but the goal is to have an influence.
You don't necessarily have to look for a new job for positive changes. Often it is enough if you don't put up with everything anymore.
This is easier said than done for the conscious mind. But if we have hypnosis on our side, we can directly address the unconscious. The goal is that what has come from the outside in the past will come from the inside afterwards. Every human being can develop a sense for himself in all areas and whoever wants to heal his burnout must first heal his soul.
Neither one's identity nor fulfillment should come from "functioning" or from work. The healing time of burnout also depends on how quickly one finds one's way to this healthy inner being and how quickly one abandons old demands on oneself.
Only when you fully stand by yourself can you really get away from burnout and avoid relapses.
In hypnotherapy we also develop the inner strength and determination to draw boundaries and say "no" when it becomes too much.
A careful use of one's own energy also needs the inner permission to put one's own needs above others. That is why we work towards this goal.
Many people mistakenly believe that balance comes from "a bit of one and a bit of the other". However, this is not the case.
We do not want to "sleep a bit and be a bit awake". A life in balance comes from being fully awake and fully asleep.
This inner balance makes it possible to become fully efficient again even in certain phases, as long as it is balanced with full, shameless recovery.
I write "shamelessly" because many burnout sufferers tell of a bad conscience when they are not "doing". Such nonsense is also rigorously hypnotized away and replaced by a healthy self-respect.
The treatment of burnout requires a certain inner attitude change. These attitudes are usually deeply rooted in one's own identity. In order to start defining oneself from the inside instead of the outside, one needs access to unconscious processes. These can be influenced by hypnosis.
For this reason hypnosis therapy is a very good therapy method to treat burnout.
Hypnosis helps against nail biting because the background of nail biting can be directly addressed by means of hypnosis therapy. The triggers of nail biting are also treated.
Whether it is a compulsion to bite one's nails or a habit of doing so, the cause is usually in the unconscious. With hypnosis therapy these are not only dissolved but also replaced by more positive behavioral patterns. We do this to prevent relapses as far as possible.
Hypnosis therapy against nail biting has a very high success rate because changing unconscious processes is one of the best uses of hypnosis.
Causes of nail biting
Nail biting, with the technical term onychophagy, is almost always caused by psychological factors. For most of those affected, the biting of the fingernails begins as a substitute for something else.
This means it is very often a valve for accumulated internal pressure. This inner restlessness can be caused by many different feelings. Not only nervousness or stress can trigger nail biting, but also boredom. Even the classic image of biting nails out of fear is sometimes true.
Thus, the biting of fingernails can often be traced back to feelings, which in one way or another are diverted into nail biting.
One specific case concerns counterfeiting. This is often the case with clients who as children have started to copy someone who bites nails. Often children copy the stress reduction methods used by their role models.
In principle, as with many substitute satisfactions, an addiction can develop in which the person concerned feels that he or she must chew. This is often considered negative. The resulting stress can in turn lead to more chewing.
Who does nail-biting concern?
In many cases, nail busters have a certain amount of inner restlessness or nervousness. So it is not surprising that people with ADHD often bite their nails as well. People who otherwise have a lot of excess energy also tend to bite their nails, especially in moments when there is nothing to do. Then it shows up as a kind of nervous tick.
In my experience with nail biting, clients are also often present who tend to avoid confrontation and do not claw out as often as the unconscious would like. The unconscious then sometimes symbolically makes them bite their fingernails.
If there is a great inner desire for harmony, nail-biting can occur more often when a conflict is foreseeable. Mostly, however, it is a certain inner basic nervousness that favours biting.
Most of those affected are women, but there are also more and more men visiting me to treat their nail chewing.
Children
As mentioned above, children can also start to bite their fingernails. This can occur if the child has copied it from parents or siblings, for example.
Or it was discovered by the child itself. This often has to do with the fact that this accumulated energy has no release valve. Even if it often disappears on its own, it is sometimes necessary to intervene. This is especially the case when children massively damage their nails and nail beds.
Severity of fingernail biting
Chewing of fingernails can be pronounced to varying degrees. From light biting of the nails to severe self-injury, many things are possible. Also the combination of nail biting and gnawing off cuticles occurs.
When the habit becomes a sort of addiction, injuries such as a bloody bed of nails or even deformed fingernails can occur. The harder it is to bite the nails, the more difficult it is to treat.
In severe cases, it is usually complex problems that need to be solved.
Superficial aids against fingernail biting
If you have failed to stop biting your nails with yourself, then the question arises: "What can you do against nail biting? There are many products that can help you get rid of this annoying habit.
Many of my clients tried it with gel nails first. Most of the time, however, they simply offer more "surface to attack" and are chewed through again within a short time. Gel nails may help to protect your own fingernails a little, but they are not suitable for chewing nails. Because all external aids have something in common: they only treat the symptoms, not the trigger.
We can have the most success in treating nail biting if we treat the causes behind the impulses.
That is why psychology and above all hypnosis helps best.
Hypnosis solutions against nail biting
The causes of nail biting are found in the subconscious. If we want to treat nail biting effectively, we need to change these basic behaviors and how we deal with feelings of stress or boredom.
That is why hypnosis is also so well suited to wean you off nail biting. Because with hypnosis we can communicate with the unconscious in a way that is otherwise hardly possible.
The first step in the treatment with hypnosis is to create a pleasant form of relaxation. The hypnotic trance in itself is very relaxing and with the right suggestions a relaxing atmosphere can be created.
In the state of hypnosis it is possible to analyze stressful moments without immediately becoming tense again.
If there is a nervous mood, it will be reduced step by step and replaced by a state of relaxation. This state can also be anchored in the unconscious, e.g. to be used again in future self-hypnoses.
The next step is to break the habit.
This means that we offer the subconscious alternatives to biting our fingernails. By breaking the habit we can guide the unconscious processes in a different, better direction.
In this way, we reduce the moments in which the fingernails are chewed out of habit. By this I mean those moments in which chewing is not a forced hand and one does not "have to" chew. This is where we can achieve the fastest results.
Sometimes the subconscious needs several alternative behaviors. But it is also important for the conscious mind to realize that there is also another possibility.
If the nail biting occurs mainly in certain situations, I go through these situations in the trance suggesting new ways of dealing with them. These kinds of posthypnotic suggestions are then activated in the respective moments.
With these measures the habit can be completely removed and replaced with something more useful.
If nail biting is perceived as an addiction, the treatment is similar to how we treat addictions.
If nail biting has become really bad or it has become a real kind of an addiction, then there is usually something more serious involved. In such situations I focus on the person sitting in front of me and not just on the fingernails.
Many clients have given me feedback that this was significant for their change. Especially if there is something bigger behind it, it is important to discuss all possible causes.
My goal is to pick up all my clients where they come from, so that I can really lead them on the path to success.
The stronger the self is, the better the impulse control works. In most cases, stressful or tense situations cannot be avoided completely in life. Therefore it is important that we can control the impulse that leads the fingernails into the mouth early enough.
Especially in the initial phase, when we have just stopped biting our nails, this can be of great importance.
In the last step the relapse prophylaxis is in the main concern
When the unconscious no longer automatically or addictionally resorts to biting fingernails, it is important to consolidate this change. It is often important to strengthen the self and reduce a possible nervous mood.
As mentioned above, hypnosis calls this "post-hypnotic suggestion" and is often used in the "if, then..." format. Thus the unconscious has a guideline in the future how to stay away from nail-biting.
Hypnosis therapy is one of the most effective methods to stop nail biting. By working with the unconscious, the danger of relapse is also massively reduced. Other aspects, such as stress resistance, can also be positively influenced. Nail biting can be stopped well and safely.
How quickly the full change takes place varies from person to person. A first improvement is often noticed after the first session. Most of my clients need between 1-3 sessions to stop biting their nails.
The hypnosis therapy against nail biting costs 150 Fr. per hour. Experience shows that most clients need between two and five sessions to stop biting their nails. The number of sessions depends on many factors, such as the strength of nail biting
